Dr. Hildah Bwembya Nkonde is a dental surgeon in Ndola, Zambia, and the founder of the Save a Smile Initiative, which provides free oral healthcare to people who would otherwise go without, including people with physical, developmental and intellectual disabilities. Her current project, Save My Smile, opens dental care to people with disabilities across Zambia and Botswana, and she has co-developed dental waste management training with Harvard School of Dental Medicine and Boston College. She volunteers with ABA World as an Autism Ally.
