Dr. Nelofar Kiran Rauf is Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Psychology, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, where her doctoral research examined stress and coping in families raising autistic children in Pakistan. She has published widely on autism in Pakistan, including an Urdu adaptation of the Social Communication Checklist and a trial of a friendship program for autistic school children, and she belongs to the International Society for Autism Research and the World Autism Organization. She volunteers with ABA World as an Autism Ally.
