ABA World was founded in 2015 by Loukia Tsami at the University of Houston Clear Lake, who recognized the need for global support for families and professionals working with children with autism and other neurodiversities. Since then, we have served hundreds of individuals in more than 40 countries in Central and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. In December 2024, ABA World became a nonprofit corporation in the state of Texas.
Every year, we collaborate with dozens of undergraduate and graduate students from the University of Houston Clear Lake, community members, and professionals from around the globe. This diverse group of individuals offers their services pro bono. Their commitment to making a difference is fundamental to our initiatives.
ABA World empowers all people in marginalized communities globally by providing resources and education and conducting research to create systems that support people of all abilities and enable sustainable growth.
