BUILDING EVIDENCE FOR CHANGE

Our colleague Jeddlee Stephen Kinnii presenting a certificate to a caregiver. Monrovia, Liberia, 20

Areas of Study

We're evaluating two screening tools across multiple countries and languages:

- M-CHAT (US-developed, toddler focus, ages 16-30 months)

- NAHQ (Nigerian-developed, broader range, ages 0-16 years)

Both tools are being translated into 20+ African languages

Importance of the April 2, data

Create a comprehensive global needs assessment
Inform evidence-based policy recommendations
Support a complex research proposal for 2027
Demonstrate what's possible when communities lead

Our Track Record

ABA World has published 6 peer-reviewed articles over 10 years with zero funding. Imagine what we'll achieve with your support!

CELEBRATING KANYE'S JOURNEY

Impossibility is a Myth

16-year-old autistic Nigerian artist and Guinness World Record holder Kanyeyachukwu Tagbo-Okeke is attempting his second Guinness World Record by cycling across Nigeria from Enugu to Lagos, arriving April 2, 2026, with grand finale events continuing through April 4.

This cross-country expedition, supported by the National Sports Commission and 20 professional cyclists from the Cycling Federation of Nigeria, will pass through Enugu, Anambra, Delta, Ogun, and Lagos State.

His mission: Raise funds to train 1,000 caregivers across Nigeria with practical skills to support autistic children and adolescents at home, in schools, and in communities.

On April 2, Kanye will anchor the largest Global World Autism Awareness Day celebration, delivered in partnership with Spark a Spectrum.

Two organizations, two missions, one historic moment
