About Us

Our history

ABA World was established in 2015 by Loukia Tsami at the University of Houston Clear Lake, recognizing the need for global support for families and professionals working with children with autism and other neurodiversities. Since its inception, ABA World has assisted hundreds of individuals across more than 40 countries, including regions in Central and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. In December 2024, ABA World transitioned to a nonprofit corporation in the state of Texas.

Our staff & volunteers

Every year, we partner with numerous undergraduate and graduate students from the University of Houston Clear Lake, alongside community members and professionals from around the world. This diverse group of individuals generously provides their services pro bono. Their dedication to making a positive impact is essential to our initiatives.

Our mission

ABA World empowers individuals in marginalized communities around the globe by providing essential resources and education, as well as conducting impactful research to create systems that support people of all abilities and foster sustainable growth.
